Columbia Power Swing Bowling Ball Review

The Columbia Power Swing
The Columbia Power Swing is billed as the latest in “high-performance beauty” from Columbia 300 Bowling. This ball has a Tri-Rib asymmetric non-bias mass core that offers much higher RG (2.51) and greater differential (0.051) than Columbia’s previous core model, the Resurgence core. The Tri-Rib core, which is highly aggressive, is wrapped in NE2Maxx coverstock. The NE2Maxx coverstock is specifically designed with hook in mind and intended to give the bowler more control over the hooking action when it comes to power, rev and angle. As with most Columbia balls, the focus is always on quality and value, so the Columbia Power Swing has been built with versatility in mind. The level of control that you get with this ball is intended to enable you to bowl under many different external conditions. The Columbia Power Swing is intended to be played in medium to heavy oil.
Review Of The Comlumbia Power Swing Bowling Ball
Columbia 300 has been getting some pretty questionable press lately, and a lot of devoted Columbia Bowling fans are giving up on their bowling balls. As a result, I was not feeling particularly good about the Columbia Power Swing or my game when I headed out with this bowling ball to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised, however, by the consistent roll, which hard and carried pretty well. Right out of the box, I bowled in the mid-200’s , which is pretty good for me. The backend might be a little weak for some people, but it worked really well for me after I drilled the ball to my liking. I have to warn you, though, that if you are not very consistent with your aim, then you may suffer. Throw it right, and you will blow the pins away. Miss your mark by just a little, and you may have a lot of pins left standing. This is probably not a good ball for beginners, but I feel pretty good about keeping it in my arsenal as I continue to work with it.
