Hammer Hot Sauce Pearl

The Hammer Hot Sauce Pearl

The Hot Sauce Pearl by Hammer is designed to put “the heat” in a competition and is touted as Hammer’s “most dangerous ball yet.” The Hot Sauce Pearl is designed for medium heavy to medium oil. It has a contrusion shape, low mass bias, non-symmetric core and a 2000 grit factory finish. The coverstock is skid/flip Aggressive Edge pearl. The Hammer Hot Sauce Pearl is intended to provide control with renewed power courtesy of the tried and true technology of the Contrusion core.

Review Of The Hammer Hot Sauce Pearl Bowling Ball

The Hammer Hot Sauce Pearl takes a little bit of getting used to, but once you’re in a “hot” groove, there is no going back. This ball has a killer combination when it comes to new and old with the classic and proven contusion core surrounded by Hammer’s Aggressive Edge coverstock. At first I thought that this ball was just a flashy graphics gimmick with a cool name, and the first time I took it to the bowling alley I was honestly afraid I was right. However, once I got used to the ball,  I was literally on fire. In fact, I got my first 300 by the end of my third game with this ball. The Hammer Hot Sauce Pearl has great recovery, and what really makes it special is that if you can get the ball to the pocket, you are guaranteed to send pins flying everywhere even if your delivery is a bit weak sometimes. The Hot Sauce Pearl is definitely best for medium to medium-heavy oil, but the other night our lanes were pretty dry, and I have to admit that it still performed pretty well considering that it was far less than optimum conditions. It’s also nearly impossible to jump this ball, which makes it ideal for practice and recreational play. This ball is literally everything that Hammer promised me, and it is far more versatile than my other Hammer bowling balls. I would definitely travel with this ball if I had limited space and could only pick a few.
