Roto Grip Rogue Cell Bowling Ball Review

The Roto Grip Rogue Cell
The Roto Grip Rogue Cell is a hybrid, and it puts its twisted, mutant take on your game in a way that no other bowling ball can. Literally and figuratively, this ball has been designed from day one to be a beast by Roto Grip’s teams of researchers and engineers. The Rogue Cell is literally a mutant, being an offshoot product from the original Roto Grip Rogue, and it is weight-customized with a Nucleus core in 14 to 16 pound bowling balls and a modified Nucleus core in the 12 and 13 pound balls. The coverstock is the latest generation of Roto Grip’s Cytoplasmic series, called the Cytoplasmic XL Hybrid Reactive. This blended concoction of additives, solid and pearl coverstocks literally creates an energy from within the ball that drives a consistent hook from release to impact with the pins. In 2008, the original Roto Grip Cell was named “Ball of the Year,” and Roto Grip research teams have pinpointed exactly what facets elicited the Cell’s winning performance, kept those aspects the same, then amped up everything else to near-alien levels. The Roto Grip Rogue Cell is recommended for medium-heavy oil.
Review Of The Roto Grip Rogue Cell Bowling Ball
If you have not tried the Roto Grip Cell Line before and are thinking about going with the original instead of this mutant monster, then do not waste your time. While you will get stellar performance from the original Roto Grip Cell, it cannot compare to the demon in the lane that is the Roto Grip Rogue Cell. The backend on this ball is incredible, and everything the manufacturer says about the hook is true. It is just a beautiful sight to watch this ball powering down the lane. I will admit that it took some pretty serious customization (though that may be just me). I did some drilling, some polishing and a little bit of buffing and then more polishing to get it right. However, the great thing about this bowling ball’s Nucleus core is that it really can work with just about any ball speed – you just have to get your ducks in a row before you let fly. I will definitely be using this ball at the USBC Nationals, and I bet mine is not the only one you see there by a mile.

This is a very aggressive ball. If you are not used to using aggressive bowling balls then you really need throw this a few times before you get into a real game. It has a serious hook to it so you may need to adjust your line a bit. It really pushes through the pins. i love this ball it just took a little getting used to.
